This Privacy Policy describes how warp ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our TCP tunneling service at go-warp.app.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information: We collect your email address and hashed password when you create an account. If you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive your email address from those providers.
Usage Data: We automatically collect tunnel metadata (names, ports, slugs) and bandwidth consumption to operate the service and enforce plan limits.
Payment Information: Payments are processed by Polar. We do not store your credit card or payment details.
Technical Data: Our servers log IP addresses, request timestamps, and connection metadata. These logs are retained for up to 30 days.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
• Provide, maintain, and improve the tunnel service • Process subscriptions and billing through Polar • Monitor bandwidth usage and enforce plan limits • Ensure security and prevent abuse • Communicate important service updates
3. Data Retention
Your account data is retained while your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data — including tunnels, usage records, and personal information — is permanently removed.
Server logs are automatically deleted after 30 days.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
• Polar — payment processing. Your billing information is handled by Polar subject to their privacy policy. • Google / GitHub — OAuth authentication. When you sign in with these providers, we receive only your email address.
5. Cookies
We use a minimal set of cookies:
• Session cookie — to maintain your authenticated session • Locale preference (NEXT_LOCALE) — to remember your language choice
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
• Access your personal data through the dashboard • Delete your account and all associated data at any time • Change your language and account preferences
